May 2, 2005 Announced as" Go Live" Date for Utah District Court The Utah Federal District Court has announced that CM/ECF will "go live" on May 2, 2005. The court's web site CM/ECF Information now includes a countdown clock to the moment when the official court record will become electronic rather than paper. All documents filed after that date will be imaged and made part of the electronic file. While some of the paper delivered to the court on May 2nd or later will be retained, most will be discarded. Paper files will continue to hold materials filed prior to May 2nd, but for almost all cases, the official file will be electronic for documents filed after May 2, 2005.
Attorney electronic filing is anticipated to begin in June 2005, increasing as more attorneys are trained and registered with the court as electronic filers.  ¶ 7:23 PM 0 comments
