Detailed Calendar; Ten Things to Know May 2nd; New Draft of Procedures
The district court has posted a detailed calendar of the anticipated transition from the current case management system to CM/ECF. Beginning with a general notice to counsel in early April, the Going Live On CM/ECF Timeline also describes what will happen around the critical dates of April 29, 2005, when docketing stops in the old system, and May 2, 2005, when the official record of the court is electronic. Important information about PACER, courtesy copies, service of notices, and possible docketing delays is included.
The Top Ten Things You Need To Know When The Court Goes Live On May 2, 2005 is also posted. It lists the changes which will affect practicing lawyers the most.
Also, a new Draft Amendments to Administrative Procedures re: Electronic Filing is posted. These are probably the near-final form.
Utah is now 45 days from CM/ECF Go Live Date. Attorney e-filing is anticipated to begin June or July 2005.
