  Intensive Transition Begins
Docketing stopped at noon today, and scanning of papers to match with docket entries ended at 5:00 p.m. The extraction of information from the ICMS (old case management) database began at noon, and will continue until tomorrow. Then the extracted data will be imported into CM/ECF. (This conversion process has already been tested several times by court staff.)
Starting Monday morning, May 2nd, docketing will resume, but in the new CM/ECF system. Under CM/ECF, scanning must precede docketing -- whereas docketing has preceded scanning in ICMS. As court staff learns the new system, and begins to scan all incoming materials, docketing priorities will be:
1) Criminal docketing
2) Orders, judgments
3) Notices
4) Motions
5) All other docketing
Images will be imported into CM/ECF on a rolling basis. All images should be transferred within a week.
