File Bins Languish
The formerly active file bins for paper destined for paper file folders are empty, a result of the CM/ECF transition to electronic files. Now, the docketing process places documents in the electronic file, and no paper case file is needed.
Some materials are still filed in paper files, but those items are so few relative to all court filings that paper filing does not pause in these file bins. ΒΆ 8:55 AM
