PAY.GOV Implemented
Starting Monday, July 10, 2006, attorneys are able to pay fees online when e-filing a Notice of Appeal, Motion for Pro Hac Vice and new case opening documents. The fee can be paid with a major credit card using
Pay.gov, the U.S. Treasury's Internet Payment Processing Service. Pay.gov will accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club/Carte Blanche and Discover cards.
During these filing processes, CM/ECF will navigate the user through the payment process and after successfully completing the payment process, the user will return to CM/ECF to complete filing. An "Internet Payment History Report" will be available to users through CM/ECF so that these credit card payments may be tracked.
