AOL NEF Bounces Monday March 13th some courts reported bounces of NEFs sent to AOL email addresses. The bounce notice refers the sender court to this page http://postmaster.info.aol.com/errors/554hvub1.html which indicates "...There is at least one URL in your email that is generating substantial complaints from AOL members...." Reports came from Pennsylvania Middle Bankruptcy, Tennessee Western Bankruptcy, Oklahoma Northern Bankruptcy and Eastern District of New York.  ¶ 9:05 AM 0 comments

  Yahoo Barriers Removed Apparently the Yahoo barriers to NEFs reported March 9th and 10th were removed by Saturday March 11th. Several courts re-sent NEFs which had bounced. Those courts reported Saturday that the re-sent emails did not bounce back.  ¶ 6:03 PM 0 comments

  Yahoo Bouncing NEFS Several district courts have reported that Yahoo email accounts have been bouncing NEFs. Among those reporting are Tennessee Western, Western Washington, California Eastern, Arkansas Eastern, Pennsylvania Middle. Apparently CM/ECF messages are being treated as bulk mail.   Percentage of Attorney E-Filings Jumps; Registrations Drop
In February, the number of attorneys registering to e-file dropped from 331 in January, the month before e-filing became mandatory for large law firms. Registration pressure is probably off until April, the month before all attorneys are required to e-file in all cases.

The percentage of filings by lawyers has increased from just under 20% to just under 24%. The steady upward trend in e-filing percentages demonstrates the excellent cooperation of Utah lawyers and the results of training conducted at the court and at law firms.  ¶ 11:41 AM 0 comments
